Booking Procedures

Safari booking and confirmation is an understanding and acceptance of the terms and conditions under which AFRICAN WHITE RHINO SAFARIS (U) LTD operates. When you are booking in for a safari, we shall expect you to give us more information about yourself including Full names, Nationality, Date of birth, passport number etc as may deem necessary.

Tours are booked for adults 18 years and above however, in some Parks, are some Educational activities for children aged between 6 and 17 but this needs a special arrangement. An initial deposit of 50% per person must be made on making the reservation which includes:

Gorilla tracking permit, Chimps permit and hotels/lodges and confirmation for which will be sent to the clients. Once a safari has been confirmed, it is almost impossible to change the dates or safari package selected more especially with Gorilla and Chimp permits. In cases where we may be able to make any changes additional costs will be incurred.

• Travel and health insurance
• Visa fees
• Airport taxes
• Laundry services
• Personal phone calls & Emails,
• Guides and porter tips
• Beverages other than those offered with meals. Etc
     

Cancellation policy.

Cancellations up to 15 days prior to the start of the safari will attract 100% forfeiture of cost of safari. Cancellations relating to other time frames up to 59 days are available on request.

Natural forces and guarantees.

AFRICAN WHITE RHINO SAFARIS U LTD does not accept responsibility for forces of nature including government regulations, quarantines, exclusion zones and national security and any other factors beyond its control. Clients should be aware of the minimal risks associated with some of the safari activities e.g. Canoeing, white water rafting, mountain climbing, gorilla tracking among others and should be sufficiently insured against these.

It is the Clients responsibility to ensure that he /she is fit and healthy otherwise poor health may lead to being left out on some of the safaris especially gorilla tracking. Gorillas are especially highly sensitive to any material that is foreign to their habitat being it cough or flue.
