Best time for game drives
The best time to do a game drive in Uganda is in the morning hours. During these morning hours, there are high chances of us seeing elephants, buffaloes, lions and a variety of antelopes and other wildlife. Game drives usually last from three to 4 hours of big game viewing, diverse wildlife experiences, beautiful landscapes and breathtaking scenery before returning for breakfast.
It is interesting to watch predators such as lions hunt for prey. This can only be observed during the dry periods of the year when the grass is short, making it the best time to go for game viewing. Game drives are done throughout the year however, during the rainy season the grass is taller making it challenging for visitors as some animals hide in the tall grass and some tracks may be impassable as they become slippery.
